I love this. I need to know more!

Let's just say the book accentuates the goddess Ashtoreth over the male emphasis of Yahweh, features embittered priests and women who refuse to be downtrodden, and even the freakish giant has a soft spot. There's betrayal and backs-to-the-wall stuff and probably way too much stabbing for genteel readers. I will revisit these subjects of course, but for info I covered the heart-breaking story of David's mother Nitsevet in this substack, with an excerpt: https://alistairforrest.substack.com/p/women-eh

I've got the book ready to read (after Silo Part 3 - Dust). Your woo woo prologue has made me want to read it even more. Can't wait.

Ali, if my woo woo words inspire a tough guy like you, there’ll be more in my next series…

Loved the prologue and I too got the email supposedly from Bernard Cornwall, an even more grotesque mis-match! When I didn't respond (there was some sentence in the middle about asking me my opinion on something) I got a short email asking if I had gotten the first. Clearly trying to figure out if the email was valid for future phishing attempts! So annoying, I am getting 2-3 a day now! I keep blocking, but they keep popping up, its like wack-a-mole.

Nephilim are important in the Supernatural (tv show, I’m an absolute nerdy fan) universe. Just thought you’d like to know.

I didn’t know, haven’t seen it. I must keep up!
