Having taught a few dudebros, spoken to Dad dudebros or stood alongside some on a rugby touchline with the first aid kit I feel coming from a longline of kickass Celts has stood me in good stead.I appreciate your labours.

As a woman from California who used to work in tech, I commend you for the spot-on use of "dudebro". Typed like a native!

Women have always done "men's" jobs throughout history. And before -- Neanderthal women hunted right alongside the men!

I find those who have problems with this sort of thing are the ones who really don't know much about history. Boudica, Joan of Arc, Shammuramat, all the women who've posed as men and been in armies, and those Neanderthal hunters.
